THE CAUSE
The Sriphong Phukaoluan Foundation was established in 1995 to provide scholarships for needy students in Krabi Province. It was founded by Khun Chuan Phukaoluan, then the Mayor of Krabi, and now the President of the Foundation. The Foundation was named in honor of his late father and, since the tsunami in December 2004, has widened its scope to aid victims of the tsunami in Krabi Province. It’s almost time for the 7th Annual Krabi Rock and Fire International Contest, where people from all over the world come to compete at Railay Bay and Ton Sai Bay in Krabi Province, April 16-17.
